In pdfToolbox 12, callas added a JavaScript / JSON based way to define fixups to be done on documents. This immediately lead to the question whether this would also be possible for preflight checks. If you miss this session but you want to see callas's answer to this in pdfToolbox 13. David van Driessche, will show you how to use JavaScript to create preflight checks in pdfToolbox 13 or add additional conditions to preflight checks.
